Thanks for the dates. I have loads of data items, most without references as my father had collected the information over a number of years.
There is a John Alcorn with wife Margaret found in the Washington Twp., Westmoreland Co. PA censuses 1800-1840. Also there is a loose reference to a John Alcorn b. c1775 who married Margaret Carroll sometime between 1792 & 1800 in PA, no county given. She was the da. of William Carroll b. c1745 PA & Joanne Wakefield b. c1760 Ire. Picking up on surnames, there was also a George Alcorn b. c1812 d. 1869 Westmoreland Co. PA who married a Nancy Foster. Hope some of this helps.
