Surnames: ALLCORN, DUMSDAY, HALL, HATHAWAY, PAXTON, STONE

Seeking descendants fo William S. and Alicy (HATHAWAY) ALLCORN.

William S. ALLCORN; b. 29 Apr 1828 at Howard county, Missouri; son of George S. ALLCORN and Dorothy Susan HALL.

He d. 9 Oct 1903 at age 75; bur. at Allcorn cemetery, Pettis county, Missouri.

He m. Alicy HATHAWAY, daughter of Richard HATHAWAY and Milly STONE, 21 Aug 1851,

He married and second and third time; m. Harriett DUMSDAY 26 Jul 1860; m. Martha PAXTON.

My interest lies only in descendants from the first marriage.

Alicy HATHAWAY was born on 16 Sep 1835 at Indiana. She died on 24 Mar 1859 at age 23. She was buried at Allcorn cemetery, Pettis county, Missouri.

1860 census, Missouri, Pettis county, Flat Creek, page 875-876; Wm. S. Alcorn, 31, farming; Harriett, 29; Margaret 7. Included in the family group are the the mother and brother of Wm. Alcorn; Dorothy Alcorn, 55, mother, born Virginia; George Alcorn, 23, farming. Note: Harriett, 29, is the second wife of Wm. Alcorn.

Known child of William S. ALLCORN and Alicy HATHAWAY:

i. Margaret ALLCORN; b. circa 1853 at Missouri.
