A year and a half later, I thank you for your response (I have not logged on these past months). I see you responded to a Jason Alcorn (the only Alcorn in Paris). He mentioned a great grandfather, Roland Alcorn, from Moncton New Brunswick. Roland was the brother of my grandfather, Ernest Jerome Alcorn. I never met him (I believe he died before my time) but I do remember his wife Rita.

Just a bit of trivia for you...I am not presently in a position to give much time to these fascinating searches, but am very intrigued and will continue to at least drop in from time to time. If you have any specific questions, I will be happy to answer if I can. Presently located in Toronto, Ontario so do not have access to much specific info except what childhood memories remain in the brain cells!
