Pamela.
I read your most interesting account
of the Alcorn name. I would like to
copy what you edited in my family book.
This "book" is only to my two brothers
and myself (three), not for sale.
If okay with you, then could you tell
me who wrote it and when (date written)?
It's intersting to me because my Cochrans
come from Derry. In Ohio, my William
Cochran married Jane Alcorn (my gr grandma)
dau of John and Jane Alcorn. The Alcorns
have been very difficult for me to trace.
But I have her picture.
She married Wm Cochran Preble Co, OH 1828.
Wm died in IN. Jane married Membrance Blue
in Indiana, divorced because he was alcoholic.
Jane then married a Summers but I cannot find
her anywhere. My line is from Wm and Jane.

It would honor my gr grandmother to add this
note of Alcorns to my book.

Thank you.
