Fielding Alcorn was the son of Robet Alcorn b. c1809 PA and Mary Margaret Watson/Walson b. NY. Robet is found in the censuses of Hamilton Co. OH from 1830 on. He is the son of William Alcorn and Jane Gealy who were married in 1797 in Westmoreland Co. PA. She was born in Ireland, and he may have been. If there is any relationship to Gov. Alcorn of MS, it is in Ireland.
