Dear All,

I am just beginning the journey down the Alcorn line of my roots. I will tell you all I know.
My ancester James Boyd (perhaps also called Robert) b. abt 1790 entered NB in 1826. He was married to his cousin Flora Alcorn.

His brother Thomas Boyd b. abt 1795 was married to a Marjorie Alcorn b. abt 1797. They entered NB abt 1836. The record that I have indicates that both families stopped in Saint John and stayed with Alcorn relatives (James and John both First Elders in the Covenanter Presbyterian Church in Saint John, NB).

My connection to the Alcorns is lost at that point. Would anyone out there be able to help me connect to this line?

Thank you,
Jonathan

PS
Marjorie's brother Thomas Alcorn followed a little later
