Thank you so much for your response. This is certainly a possibility as we were unsure of Hugh's spouse's name but was thought to be Fitzpatrick so Fitzgerald is not too unlikely. She was also thought to have been called Biddy, a not uncommon nickname for Margaret. In your response, you state that Andrew was born about 1800 but came to N.B. in 1928. If that is a typo and you mean 1828, the time frame is right and they sailed out of Londonderry. I do not know if Violet, his daughter, had any siblings but have many places to search. If I learn anything definite in the future, I will certainly share it with you.
