Thanks for your help. I do have a few more tidbits about Mary Alcorn(Allcorn). She may have had indian ancestory. My late Uncle Henry often said that she was half-indian. He'd tell stories how the local indian tribes tried to trade furs for Mary because she looked indian. My Father said that she often used the term "Black Dutch".
But, no one seems to have any information on what her ancestory may be. Possibly on Mary's mother side, I don't know. Interesting enough out of all of the six of her grandchildren. I have a brother who is very dark, the rest of us show our german/English features. Anyway, thank you for your interest and I welcome any information.
