Mary Ellen was the da. of William Alcorn b. 1806 KY & Hannah Chutterd/Olmstead b. 1808 KY
They married in Jefferson Co. IN 25 Nov. 1827 and can be found in the following censuses: 1830 Jeffeson Co. IN, 1840 Gallatin Co. KY, 1850 Clrmont Co. OH. Hannah is a widow in the 1860 Clermont Co. OH census. William was possibly the son of John B. Alcorn b. c. 1775 VA. Hannah may have been married previously as the records show both surnames for her.
