I was just curious if this family has any relation to the Cox, Alcorn, King, Pierce, and Eslick families that traveled by wagon train from Kentucky to Indiana about 1822 and to Missouri about 1836. My ggrandmother, Jestine Alcorn Jones, had an uncle, Robert J. Alcorn, who was married to Permela Eslick (Permela's second marriage was to William Pierce I believe). I was just curious since there are so many familiar names.
