I found a James D. Allcorn in the Austin's "Register of Families" Vol.II . It says: Steward, heirs of Steward from Missouri(Arrived) 1830. 2 males, 1 female. Deed in this Colony. J.D. Allcorn, Step Father (Arrived) 1830.
It also said when he arrived he was 30 yrs. old, single, farmer, from AR,arrived in 1824.

There are also other Allcorn's on Austin's 1830 Citizens of Texas. They all came from AR. You came find this info at any archives libary.
