Alcorn of County Donegal, IRL

My ancestor John Wilson Warnock (1801-1878) was married in Dunfanaghy, Co. Donegal to Elizabeth Alcorn, who died in 1845 in Donegal after giving birth to her last of 7 children. John emigrated to the USA in 1846 with all 6 children, the last being Catherine who died in Ireland.

Several trips to Donegal showed many Alcorn families in Dunfanaghy, members of both the Church of Ireland and our Dunfanaghy Presbyterian Church, but no local Alcorn history. I have Church histories of both congregations with many Alcorn families, but no ties to Elizabeth.

Has anybody had success in that area of Donegal with Alcorn research.
