Hi Sharon,
I was placed for adoption outside the family, but met most of the family once I became an adult. From what my Aunt Dee told me, the Allcorn family cemetary is in the Brenham area(one place online says it is in Independence), but is located on private property. I'm thinking that county records should show something. I haven't been there, but would sure love to someday. No one in the family seems to know exactly where it is now which is sad. I'm not certain which branch we are in, but my grandmother and aunt said Elijah Allcorn was their ancestor and spoke a lot about the Allcorns being in the first 300 settlers with Stephen F.
