Hello Chris,

I too am a descendent of James Alcorn who emigrated in 1721 with his 3 sons James, William & Thomas. I found a tree in Ancestry.com taking the account right down to my dec. brother Bill and myself... except the author spelled my name Melvanie.

It is exciting to see how it looks like we date back to Scotland, and that John Alcorn was in the Revolutionary War. Perhaps you can tell me how you fit into the tree. It would be helpful if you fit into the John Breckenridge branch - that is confusing to me! Looking forward to hearing from you.
