just looking up your family tree and surprised to find Michael alcorn from glenveagh Co Donegal Ireland. I believe that I am a descendant of the Glenveagh alcorns from more than likely a brother of michaels who did not emigrate. I believe that michael and his his brother along with an uncle left Derry (ireland) in 1804 bound for America. i live about 20 miles from Glenveagh and have photographs of the plot where the alcorn home once stood in Glenveagh.
