Perhaps this will help:
The New England Historical & Genealogical Register for 1943 #97, pg 10:
The Alcocks of Roxbury Mass. by G. A. Moriarty, states:

"Dr. George Alcock and his brother Thomas Alcock, came from England in the first company that settled in Massachusetts in 1630. They had a sister, Elizabeth Whitehead, living at Leamington, co Warwick, England, in 1647, whose children were then in New England. There can be small doubt but that they came from either the county of Leics., Wars., or Northants., and it is tempting to suggest that they are identical with the brothers, George Alcock and Thomas Alcock, who had a sister Elizabeth, and who appear in the pedigree of Alcock of Sibtoft in the Visitation of Northamptonshire at this time, but proof is lacking."

Let me know what connections you find. My wife is decended from Thomas Alcock. hilton@execpc.com
