Thanks for your interest - what a fascinating name you have !
Your Alcock names are indeed familiar to me but the dates are not really far enough back in time - they need to be in the late 1600 to very early 1700's.However I looked into the Liverpool parish site on the IGI associated lists and found Thomas Alcock m 15Oct1688 @ St Nicholas, Liverool to Deborah Livesey, now if only they were the parents of my Ralph and Nicholas Alcock and they moved to North Yorks early 1700 !! Hmmmm - if only !
Deborah was in fact chosen as one of the children of my Ralph and Elizabeth (I'Anson)
I also found Robert Alcock m 28Aug 11786, Edward Alcock m 19-6-1768, Samuel Alcock m 1732,John Alcock ch.10Nov1754
