Wondering if any of the Alcocks out there might be linked to John Alcock *Liverpool 1819 +Birkenhead 1873 - occupation Whitesmith. John married Mary-Ann Sykes *1819 Stockport +1882 Birkenhead. John and Mary Ann had four sons William m. Emily Nimmo, George m. Ann Wynne, Edwin m. Elizabeth Lewis and Frederick m. Maryann Bayliss. John's father (also John) listed as 'Cooper' in 1825 Liverpool Directory. Any info on this family would be appreciated.
