Any information on Alchin relatives in Australia?

Hi,

I'm based in Sydney,Australia and I am looking for anyone who may have already done some work on the Alchin's from Central New South Wales, Australia. My Grandfather, William E Alchin and Dorothy E Monk lived in the Gilgandra and Balladooran regions before settling in Sydney. I am aware that there are still Alchin's living there. I visited there in 1988 as a kid at a family reunion but was not really interested in the whole genealogy thing. However, since the passing of all my grandparents I have begun my search.

I have already read the Allchin File's at www.allchin.net but this doesn't deal with my line of the family.
