My grandmother was a Bahamian Albury. My dad has done some research into the geoeology and believes that the Albury's came from Bermuda along with the Eleutheran Adventurers. I believe there is an Albury listed in some form of constitution the settlers wrote as well as in a thank you letter to the people of Mass. for sending supplies to help them out in the early days. The story is (no proof) that the Albury's in the Bahamas descended from 5 brothers. The brothers had an argument and some went to Abaco while the others stayed in Eleuthera.
