Sheila, Many thanks for getting in touch. Yes the book you refer to is an excellent source. As you will see however the early material is very sketchy with many gaps. It is this area I am trying to fill in, whilst also trying to provide a confirmed link between my family line and your own. Some of the sources I have found and printed are linked, ie., Thomas Albrighton land sales but some are not. There are infact other mentions of Albrightons which on one hand pad out the family as it were, but mean that we have no confirmed line prior to Thomas Albrighton bn abt 1490. I have recently been revisiting some of the sources mentioned in the book as these provide some further information. I will publish these separately so that everyone can see them. I personally would be very interested in exchanging photos, old or new be it of people or the area around which people live. As an example tomorrow I shall be visiting Haughton where your family are from prior to emigrating, (abt 30 miles from where I live). I will post a message, as I am happy to forward copies. Best wishes, Shaun Notify Administrator about this message?
