Hi! Thank-you for posting, Rev. Jacob Albright founder of the Evangelical church is my direct ancestor. There are 2 lines of Albright (Albrecht) that was in the area and frequently they get confused--- hasn't proven any connection between the 2 as of yet. The other line of Albrights
are Johannes and Anna Barbara of Berks county. They emigrated from Rotterdam aboard the Johnson Galley through the Port of Philly in 1732. This line appears to be from Austria. However what's cool here is that family from this line (Merle Albright, CA) is trying to reinstate the families claim to some Habsburg estate property near Vienna.
Johannes and Anna Barbara had 6 children
Matelina, Barbara, Christian, Jacob, Ludwig and Judith.
3 stayed in PA, others in N. Carolina. I have a book the Albrights which has a variety of Albright lines that I'm willing to do look-ups.
