Researching ALBRECHT family from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Prussia. Am descended via Johann Georg Frierich ALBRECHT, b. 11 JAN 1857 Kreis Grimmen, Vorpommern, son of Johann ALBRECHT and wife UNKNOWN. Johann Georg Friedrich ALBRECHT married Wilhelmine POZEHL, daughter of Christain POZEHL and wife Wilhelmine HOLZ, ca 1881/82 in Kreis Grimmen, Vorpommern. Albrecht family immigrated from Techlin, Kreis Grimmen, Vorpommern 1884 via Hamburg to New York and settled in Lincoln and Milwaukee Co., WI. Johann George Friedrich ALBRECHT died 27 APR 1911 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Co., WI and is buried in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery. Wilhelmine (Pozehl) ALBRECHT died 27 OCT 1934 in Merrill, Lincoln Co., WI and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery.

ALBRECHT Family legend says that Johann Georg Friedrich ALBRECHT had a brother who also migrated to Lincoln Co., WI but later moved out West.
