Adam Albrecht

Trying to re-trace family links to an Adam Albrecht who appears to have been born around 1799 to 1801 and either grew up or was raised in Alsace or around Germershim in Rhineland-Platz and then later moved with family to Bavaria under the protection of Maximillian Joseph.
His full name might have been Johann Adam Albrecht but went by Adam Albright in America most of his life until his later years in California.

Around 1836 - 1837 he would have left for America with a Mary Magdelene Rensslaer - possibly his second wife. He may have had two sons by a 1st wife -- George and Clifford.

European Family would have received word that first he settled around Syracuse, NY, then Illinois (DePage Co), then California.
