My Albrecht family settled in Rock County, WI. My GGgrandfather was Carl Christian Johann Elias ( m. Christiane Jenss). Sons were Carl Christian (b. 1860 m. Sophia Gunlach), Friedrick Carl (b. 9/21/1862 m. Julie Mierke and Mathilde Witt), and August (b. 10/3/1875 m. Willhelmina Grunzel). Could your Fred be my Carl's brother? Do you know when they came to WI or from where? The Albrechts in my family came from Mecklenburg-Schwerin after 1875 but before 1885. I believe they already had family in WI. Let me know what your records reflect.
