My great-grandmother was Emma, daughter of Jacob and Elizabeth. I don't know the names of Jacob's parents, but I would like to exchange info with you. I have copies of the 1870 and 1880 US census. The 1870 census gives Jacob's place of birth as PA and both parents were born in America. The 1880 census gives his place of birth as new Jersey and the same for his parents. I haven't been able to confirm or refute either location.
