I recently received info on Albertson side of my family. This shows Cornelius' birthdate as Sept 3, 1739 (?), Near Rockaway L.I., NY; d.March 12, 1813, Delaware Station, N.J.
Notes indicate that Cornelius' parents, Nicholas and Angeleschea, landed in New York in the year 1728. The ship is not indicated. They were travelling with Nicholas' brother John Albertson. Nicholas and Angeleschea lived at Near Rockaway and owned a tide mill there until 1742. John Albertson became the private secretary of the Colonial Governor of the Province of Pennsylvania.
