Tammy -- Your Isaac was my 3rd great-uncle. I'm descended from his sister Sarah. Unfortunately, from Sarah on back, we're not at all sure of the connection. My aunt Helen, who did much research in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, eventually concluded, tentatively, that Sarah's father was Solomon Albertson and her mother, Rachel (unknown last name). But I'm not sure she had concrete proof.
Of course, I don't have as much info about Isaac's family as you do, but I have stuff on my own branch. Sarah (Sally) Albertson married Ransom Robinson and had 8 kids, and I'm descended from their 6th, Isaac Montgomery Robinson.
Do you have any info on Isaac's parents?
