I have already tried this request on the email lists with little result. Hope one of you can help me.
I am looking for the parents of Edmund W. Albertson b. about 1819, died in 1880. He may have been born in either Perquimans or Pasquotank Co, NC, but he lived in Pasquotank from at least 1850 until his death in 1880.
Also looking for proof that his wife, Lucy, was a Stokely. I may be able to get that from the probate of the estate of her probable father, Murden Stokely, in Pasquotank County, when I can get there again.
Any information on these two families would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to share what I have found with anyone interested.
