I know that it is assumed that Nicholas Albertson of Scituate was the father of Albert I have never heard of the documentation. You should also be aware that there was no body in North Carolina when Nicholas was married. If Albert was the son of Nicholas as commonly believed he was probably born in Scituate. Albert was not married in North Carolina as I have seen all too often, he was married in Surry County Virginia, and moved to Perquimans shortly after his marriage.
