Dear cousin Yvonne -
Your posting indicates that we are fifth cousins - my GGG Grandfather is John Albertson (b. 1794, d 1868) who is the younger brother of your Jacob - both came to Holmes County (DO you know path - we think they were in PA after NJ before coming to Ohio) - John maried Nancy Bell in Holmes County in 1819 - they had 13 children, 11 survived - Cornelius (b. 1830, d 1922) His son Thomas Albert (b 1867 d. 1951) His Son Wm. Cornelius (b. 1890 d. 1956) His son Wm. C. Jr (b 1917 d. 1996) and his son (ME Wm C. III b 1942)
I have listing of marriages in Holmes County which indicates that Jacob Married Ingaby Hoagland June 14, 1849 making her his second wife he was 66) their are two minor children - Jacob H and Helen in Jacobs will signed 25 Jan 1859 anad proved 7 Mar 1862 - also lists another son Jacob H and a Son Joeseph A both presumably from first marriage
