My William Early Alberson b. Dec. 1845 was married to Amanda Darling on July 26, 1868 in MO. He traveled to Oregon with his father Solomon Alberson and his mother Sally Ann Coy Alberson and settled near Burns. He was the first County Assesor in Burns and also had a homestead on Steens Mountain. He had eight children, including my great grandmother Susan. He also had a son named Jesse, and there are ruins of a town called Alberson in Oregon--Uncle Jesse had a bawdy house there.

Are we talking about the same Albersons?
