Hello all,
I am looking for information on the death of Thomas & Sarah Albert Taylor. In the 1870 census Sarah (Albert) Taylor was with her eldest daughter Edith Taylor Clawson, stating her age as 70, Thomas must have died sometime after the 1850 census, and before the 1870, I can not find them.
Thomas Taylor and Sarah Albert(s) married Date: 18 Sep 1821 County: Wayne County,Indiana
1850 Census of Franklin, Wayne County, Indiana
Thomas Taylor Age: 50 b NC
Estimated Birth Year: 1800
Sarah age 52 b NC
Anna 20 b IN
James 15 B IN
Nathan age 17
Jane 12
Misouri (f)10
Sarah 8,
Sarah J 3
Does anyone have one of the above people in their files?
Above in the census there are 2 Sarah's one with a J.
we think the 8 year old is the last child of Sarah Albert[s] & Thomas.
Sarah being 42 at that time, but if the 1870 census is correct then she would have been 40 at Sarah's birth.
There was another child born to Thomas and Sarah, William M. Taylor born 1824 Indiana he married (We think) the daughter of Garret Clawson and his first wife unk. Lorinda Lovina Clawson Taylor b 1832 Ohio m on 29, Jul 1847 Indiana.
Edith Taylor b 1822 Indiana m Garret Clawson in 1841 Indiana
I have no information on the Albert Family, Sarah stated in Census she was born in N C. Any information please.
