Hello and thank you so much for replying to my post. From now on if you choose you can email me directly at patnsheila@sympatico.ca There are alot of similarities but I can't be sure we have the same family. You do have the proper birthdate for my grandfather Lawrence Blais as June 4 1913, just the difference in the name. My mother is not aware of any other children than her father Lawrence his brother Norman/Normand, Hildeir and sister Rita. The 1911 census indicates that they resided on 3rd street and my mom says they lived in the same house all their lives from the day they married and she was sure that it was on 5th Avenue ( she needs to check on that )My great grandfather John Blais died while my mom was pregnant with my sister so she remembers specifically that it was in 1960, if your records are the same family as mine that would have made John according to census birthdate in his 50's when one of the children you indicated was born, my mom says that this is not the case. Also she thinks he was in his early 90's when he died, the birthdate you indicated would have made him 81 when he passed away. Can I please ask you where you got the information from the other children? My mom could be mistaken as in those days children where not informed about their parents entire lives, my grandfather Lawrence never mentioned anything to my mom and she spent ALOT of time with him, we practically lived with him when I was a child. There has to be something that we can piece together to make the fit. I have alot of information on the Blais side for you beginning with Isreal Blais, I was reluctant to add it as I couldn't verify, but the info I have goes back to the 1500's. I hope to hear from you very soon take care.xoxo
