Trying to understand the indexing on Robert S. Albee's book
I have traced my family back to Samuel Albee born 1782...he is listed on page 170 of the book...he is listed as 10. trying to understand who Samuel's father is???
In the index at the back of the book it lists Samuel as (10)
What does the ( ) around the number mean???
can anyone explain the indexing other than what is explained in the book???
