Linda, I tried to find your e-mail address but it is listed as "Hidden". I'm replying to an old post you made.
I have a Peter ALBAUGH who was born in about 1803 in Maryland. He married Mary Harper BURKS in Mercer County, KY 19 Jun 1824. The consent for marriage was signed by an Adney Albaugh. Peter and Mary migrated first to Sullivan County, Indiana and then to Greencastle, Putnam County, Indiana. Some of their children stayed there but mine migrated to Decatur County, Iowa. I have NOT been able to find Peter's parents. His census records say he was born in Maryland. I don't know if he came to Kentucky with other family or by himself.
