trying to identify Jacob, Andrew & Henry Albaugh in the 1820 census of Woodberry Twp, Bedford Co, Pa 71b 41 Allibaugh, Jacob 410010 - 20010 - 1a 71b 42 Adams, Jacob 200010 - 20010 - 1a 71b 43 Teeter, Daniel 301001 - 21201 - 2a 72a 01 Marker, Peter 110010 - 21010 - 1m 72a 02 Allibaugh, Andrew 100010 - 00100 - 1a 72a 05 Allibaugh, Henry 100010 - 10100 - 1a 72a 10 Adams, Andrew 301110 - 12010 - 1a 72a 20 Adams, William Jr 210010 - 30010 - 1a 72a 22 Adams, William 000001 - 00001 - 1a 72b 01 Adams, John 000100 - 10010 - 1a My main interest is in Andrew Adams (born 1781 Md). William Sr is not his father (I have his will). Andrew Adams married Catherine Marker, Peter is presumably a close relation (brother?) The Teeter, Marker, Albaugh & Adams families all appear in present Carroll Co, Maryland (then Frederick) in the Taneytown to Silver Run area. In Frederick Co, two of Valentine (s/o Martin) Adam's children married children of William (Wilhelm) Albaugh. In the 1800 census of the Taneytown District of Frederick Co, one of the Zachariah Albaugh is two lines from Thomas Adams (John, Martin). Lease map of Monocacy manor in Frederick Co shows Zachariah Albaugh (Sr?), lots 60-62, adjacent to Andrew Adams, lot 29 (originally to Martin Adam, willed 1754 to his son Andrew). So, there's a lot of Adams/Albaugh connections. Wherever I look for my Andrew Adams (Frederick Co, Bedford Co, Cambria Co) I find Albaugh in the same district of township. I'm hoping this can help me figure out who my Andrew Adams' father is. Notify Administrator about this message?
