Mary Hallaba or Hallabaugh came to Ohio
in the 1830s with John Henry Shreffler.
They were from Brush Valley, Centre County, Pennsylvania. They settled in
Red Haw, near Ashland, Ohio. Their youngest child, Levi Shreffler, died around
1920 in Ashland. Mary HALLABA appears
on the death certificate as his mother.
The Shrefflers came through Reading, PA
to the Rebersburg, PA area. Some went
to Venango County, PA. Cyndy Shreffler
