I'm new to genealogy and just found this message. I'm researching my family who are believe to be from Lungro. Their names are Giuseppe (Joseph) Buono and Marie (Mary) (nee Tripoli). They were born in the mid-1850's and immigrated to the US around 1886. According to older family members, they always claimed to be Albanian but census records say Italy. I was wondering if these names are familiar to anyone. Thanks.
