Cingull might be Latin, as there seems to be a lot of Latin words in Albanian.
My family's mostly Greek and from Lakonia (near Sparta), but my great grandfather (the Albanian one) came from Kranidi (Northern Peloponisus). Also, I know that he had a lot of relatives in Spetses, so he might be originally from there. The Spetsiotes, as you might know, are almost entirely of Albanian stock, which is what led to suspect that I might have some Albanian ancestry.
My parents never told me that there might be some Albanian in the family; like the Greeks you described, my mom is quick to make excuses for relatives who speak Arvanite.
I think Greeks do this because modern Albanians are Muslim. I don't see a problem, however, as Greeks and Albanians, to me, seem derived from the same Balkan tribes. There was no clear-cut difference in ancient times: the southerners were just more civilized, while the Dinaric hillbillies were more isolated and, hence, more "backward." Pretty fascinating stuff, all the same.
