My Grady family of Duplin intermarried with the Kornegays (originally, as I understand it, of German/Swiss origin and spelled Gnagi or Gnagy). In my family the Kornegay ended up a middle name as in John K. Grady, first patriot (monument to him) killed at Moore's Creek near Wilmington, NC in the RevWar. My uncle John K. Died in WW1. I can fill out some blanks with further info.
