Dear Cathy,
I also, am searching for my family roots, My names is Judy Barillaro, My father's family came from Mammola, Calabria Italy. We are related to a family of Albanese, whom I believe came either from Mammola, or another town in Calabria. Some of that family of Albanese may have immigrated either just before or just after 1900, However, I can't honestly say. If your family came from somewhere around Mammola. I know of some of our family of Albanese's live in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. Please feel free to contact me, and I will see what can be found out for you. It will also, help me in my family search.
Goodluck,
Judy B
