My 9th grand father, Captain D.Juan Velasquez de Alarcon who died in Lisbon, Portugal in 1620 was from Toledo, sun of D.Baltasar de S.Juan de Alarcon, born in Alcala de Henares, Spain, and grand son of D.Juan Cristobal Ruiz de Alarcon.
Did somebody knows something about them ?
Their sons adapted the name to the portuguese phonetic and they write Alarcāo, like we do today.
I am genealogist and i have some books about our Alarcon ancestors published on the XVII century.
