Sorry about the Translation I used a universal translator as this was written in old style castillion. Some of the words no longer translate. HERÁLDICA
The shield of Alanis dates from century XV and was used by the concejiles military services in the war against the Moors, and in the trimming of the castle.
In silver field:
On moviente terrace of sinople of the end, a castle in its color, donjonado of three towers, mazonado of saber and clarified of azur, supported by two mastiff dogs, also of its color. On the door of the castle, loaded two boilers of saber, gringoladas of sinople, placed in strip. Laid down to the right hand of the castle, a key of azur, put in wood and with paletón low; cantonados, in head, a bypassed flood, of gules, to the right hand, and a sun, also of gules to the left-hand side.
