Hi Alysa,
My grandfather is Ignacio Alaniz and he comes from Brownsville, TX. His parents were Adolfo Alaniz Trevino and Maria Mercedes Ramirez. His grandparents were Geronimo Alaniz and Maria DeJesus Trevino.
My grandfather has four siblings: Ambrosio Alaniz, Socorro Alaniz, Ortencia Alaniz and Elisa Alaniz. Socorro Alaniz lives in our area but the rest I believe live in the Brownsville/Matamoros area.
