My mother and father,Juan Alaniz met in Chicago in early 1950's. She is from Laredo, Texas. He was born in Cotulla, Texas 1929. I have 2 brothers J. Felix, and J. Eugene, 2 sisters Blanca Elvia, and Adriana. We all live in Chicago area.
My Father Juan was youngest of 10 children. His oldest brother Felix Alaniz is alive and lives in Cotulla, Texas. He is approximately 84 years old. He had another brother, Eugenio, died around 1980 in California. Neither brother married, nor known children.
He also had 7 other sisters. Marriage names not known by me.
I believe my grandfather's name was Jose. His wife's name was Angelita(?) He had one other brother, name not remembered. I think that the name Trevino is twice tied to the family by marriage.
Anyone else with common branches?
