The Alaniz family side of your tree starts with your Dad John R. Alaniz. He has 2 brothers and 2 sisters (your uncles and aunts).
His father is Juan Alaniz. He was born in Cotulla, Texas b. 1929 He lived in Chicago from early 1950's. to d. 1983. His wife (your grandmother on your Dad's side) is Blanca Chavez Alaniz. He had 2 brothers, Felix and Eugenio, neither of them married or had children. Felix still lives in Cotulla, He is about 84 years old. He also had 7 sisters. I dont know all of their names. But that is far as I can remember without asking your great uncle.
