My Alaniz family (American side) came from Mission, TX. Grandfather Refugio crossed into U.S. somewhere unknown. I do know he was 12 years old when he crossed from Mexico. I don't have many details. I do have some but my brother in Oklahoma has my folder with all the info. Great-Grandfather listed on grandfather's death certificate is Preciliano Alanis and Great-grandmother listed as Maria Saenz. I still have family in Mission, however I have not been there in over 30 years and have lost contact with all. Any connections, please let me know.
