To whom it may concern-

I am seeking any information regarding my grandfather. I don't know where he was born. My father said that on his birth certificate and his brothers/sister said Old Mexico and New Mexico. His fathers name was Faustino Alaniz/Alanis.
Do not know mothers first name, but I was told that her maiden last name was Lopez. I think he lived in Colorado. He had a sister name Julia Alanis Rivera, that lived in Denver or Puelbo, Colorado. He might of had a twin brother that died. My father and uncles heard but never looked into it. My grandmothers (His wife) name was Eugenia T. Espinosa-Alanis. They were married on Nov. 4, 1939.
Not sure where they were married, but I think it was in Idaho. Also the reason I spelled Alanis with "z" and a "s" is because I was told that my grandfather changed the "z" to a "s" for some reason or another. My grandfather was very secreted about him self. Any information that would help me or my family out, to know more about our family (Alanis\Alaniz) would be greatly appreciated.

Cris Alanis Espinoza
