Thanks for the information! That helps me understand the name thing a lot! I have that he was born March 25, 1891 at Sabanilla del Encomendador, Cuba. He came here to the united states by way of New York in 1926. And in 1940 he went to visit his mother in Havana. He died in Washington DC on August 3, 1953.
Different things I know about him was that he was a barber and cut hair for the Cuban embassy. He also helped negotiate contracts for Cuban baseball players.

Anyway, do you think there may be any connection? in his obituary it was mentioned that his siblins names were:
Seniorita Concha Alamo
Eugenio ALamo
Oscar Alamo
and Benito De Le Nuez
